Even Death May Die
In this piece, Death realizes it is finally its turn to also die, and in doing so it experiences the same fear and grief it has inflicted upon others for millions of years. It looks away and hides its head in dread of the unknown and clings in vain to its existence, just the same as we do.
The title is inspired by the famous quote from H.P Lovecraft: "That is not dead which can eternal lie, / And with strange aeons even death may die."

Humans believe that with death all ends, and yet we depict death as one of us: an image of our worldly remains that is somehow very much alive. A primitive, poetic vie of something we still not quite fully understand.
Using this depiction, we can assume that if one day there is no one left to ponder upon the concept of death, then at that point it is possible to assume that Death will also die.
